What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As an integral part of our retail operations team, you'll play a vital role in delivering the exceptional shopping experience that arenaflex is known for. Here's what you can expect:
Creating Outstanding Customer Experiences
- Greet customers warmly and offer genuine, helpful assistance throughout their shopping journey
- Engage with customers proactively to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products and services
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring every interaction ends positively
- Maintain a friendly, positive attitude at all times, even during busy or challenging situations
- Follow arenaflex service standards, including maintaining appropriate interpersonal habits such as eye contact, courteous communication, and attentive service
- Strive to service every customer until they are completely satisfied with their experience
Sales and Register Operations
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the assigned point-of-sale system
- Collect payments, make change, and process various transactions including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
- Recommend complementary products and suggest trade-up or partner items to enhance customer purchases
- Meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area that reflects arenaflex's commitment to professionalism
Store Operations and Merchandising
- Keep store counters and shelves well-organized, properly stocked, and neatly merchandised
- Take regular inventory and maintain accurate records of stock levels
- Check in and price new products as directed by management or shift leaders
- Implement company asset protection strategies to identify and minimize profit loss
- Ensure compliance with all state and local laws regarding regulated products
- Construct and maintain attractive product displays, including promotional, seasonal, and special displays
- Complete store resets and revisions as directed by management
- Assist with inventory rotation using first-in, first-out methods to minimize waste
- Support with both indoor and outdoor maintenance to ensure a clean, orderly store environment
Additional Store Support
- Develop working knowledge of store systems and operational software
- Assist with online order pickup responsibilities, including monitoring orders, picking items, and delivering orders to customers
- Support photo services area operations, including digital passport photos, poster printing, and related services
- Follow all company policies and procedures while maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers
- Complete special assignments and other duties as needed to support team success

Essential Requirements
- Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
