Your Day:
Each day will bring new challenges and opportunities driven by high-volume, mission-critical contract support for hundreds of customers. By expertly managing priorities, mitigating risk, and delivering timely, strategic solutions that enable operational success your work will directly contribute to the success of our programs and the safety of those who depend on our technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage moderately complex proposals, contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Lead proposal activities, including analysis, team meetings, and document preparation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and effectively negotiate with external customers to secure favorable contract terms and ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of and ensure compliance with all applicable U.S. government acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS) and company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers, serving as a trusted advisor on contract-related matters.

Required Skills and Education

Education: Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of experience or Advanced Degree with 1 year of experience.

Skills:
  • Solid understanding of FAR/DFARS regulations.
  • Familiarity with various agreement types, including NDAs and bailment agreements.
  • Excellent attention to detail - Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience developing and submitting winning proposals in response to complex RFPs, especially within BAE Systems.
  • Experience interacting with U.S. Government agencies and/or prime contractors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts and programs simultaneously, effectively coordinating across various internal functions.

Nice to Have:  Prior experience with commercial items under FAR 12
