Job Description:
• Lead end-to-end migration of cloud infrastructure from AWS to Azure
• Assess current AWS architecture, dependencies, and workloads
• Design and implement equivalent Azure-based solutions
• Migrate core services, including: Compute (EC2 → Virtual Machines), Storage (S3 → Blob Storage), Serverless (Lambda → Azure Functions), Databases (RDS / DynamoDB → Azure SQL / Cosmos DB), Networking (VPC → Virtual Network)
• Reconfigure identity and access management (IAM → Entra ID / RBAC)
• Migrate monitoring and logging (CloudWatch → Azure Monitor)
• Transition messaging and queueing systems (SQS / SNS → Azure Queue / Service Bus / Event Grid)
• Implement infrastructure as code using Bicep or ARM templates
• Migrate containerized workloads (ECS/EKS → AKS, ECR → Azure Container Registry)
• Ensure security best practices and compliance throughout migration
• Perform testing, validation, and optimization post-migration
• Document architecture, processes, and handover guidelines
Requirements:
• Proven experience with both AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with cloud migration projects (AWS → Azure preferred)
• Strong knowledge of: Compute, storage, networking, and database services in both environments
• Identity and access management (IAM, RBAC, Azure AD/Entra ID)
• CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS/EKS)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, ARM, Bicep, Terraform is a plus)
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
