About the Role We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Claims Call Center Representative to join our team, working with American Express Card Members who need to file an insurance claim. As a Claims Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for providing prompt and professional service to fulfill client requests, including: • Providing benefit and coverage information to clients • Setting up new claims and providing updates on existing claims • Responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner • Utilizing analytical skills to review and interpret policy coverage and claim status • Effectively managing and prioritizing tasks to meet productivity and quality standards Key Responsibilities As a Claims Call Center Representative, your primary responsibilities will include: • Handling incoming calls from American Express Card Members and providing exceptional customer service • Accurately gathering and entering information into our system, with attention to detail and accuracy • Providing clear and concise information on policy coverage, benefits, and claim status • Utilizing analytical skills to resolve complex client issues and provide solutions • Maintaining a high level of productivity and quality, meeting or exceeding performance standards • Collaborating with colleagues and other teams to ensure seamless client experience Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: • A high school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ year of experience in customer service, preferably in an insurance or claims handling environment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review and interpret policy coverage and claim status • Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to gather and enter information into our system • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks, meeting productivity and quality standards • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex client issues Preferred Qualifications We prefer candidates with: • Previous experience working with American Express or other credit card companies • Knowledge of insurance industry and claims handling processes • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications What We Offer At AIG Travel Guard, we're committed to providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive work environment.
