Advanceable ABA VA - BT / RBT – Norfolk, VA & Surrounding Areas Join our team at Advanceable ABA as a Behavior Technician (BT) and help children with autism thrive in their own homes! Work Setting: This is a home-based ABA therapy position. Services are delivered in the child's home, where you'll be working in the natural environment where children learn and grow best. You'll help children with autism reach important goals – while staying engaged, playful, and active. Responsibilities: • Work directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans • Track progress through accurate session data and notes • Communicate with families and your clinical team to support success • Stay physically active during sessions – sitting, squatting, playing, running, etc. Training & Certification Support: • We provide paid onboarding training • 40-hour RBT course included • You'll be mentored and supervised every step of the way • No RBT certification yet? No problem – we'll help you get there! Requirements: • Passion for working with children and helping others grow • High school diploma or equivalent (required) • 1+ year of experience with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred) • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (required) • Strong communication, patience, and professionalism • Already certified as an RBT? Great! Not yet? We'll support your path to certification Schedule & Hours: • Part-time and full-time Behavior Technician (BT) positions available • Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday–Friday; weekends as needed) • 15–25+ hours per week depending on your availability and client needs Pay & Perks: • Hourly Pay Range: $22–$26/hour (based on experience; higher pay available upon RBT certification) • Paid training • Flexible scheduling • Increased pay when you become a certified RBT • Paid time off (PTO) • License/certification support • Employee referral bonuses • Ongoing supervision and career growth support Ready to Apply?
