We are seeking an individual responsible for the business of bookkeeping functions for multiple business entities. The Bookkeeper position is part time, during normal business hours and local to the DC/Maryland/Virginia area is a MUST. This position is not to completed after hours.
Compensation is based on experience.
• *Full Charge Bookkeeper Responsibilities and Duties:**
You will be responsible for overseeing all functions of bookkeeping to to include , accounts payable, accounts receivables , contract bookkeeping of the organization, collections, reports and some lite HR in alignment with our HR subcontractor
Manage records and information
Bookkeeping - A/P & A/R
Provide administrative assistance to management
Encourage and improve cross-department internal communication
Collaborating with an off site fractional
Performing monthly cost reviews
Coordinating year-end audit functions with external auditing/accounting firms and providing annual 1099 filings;
Work with outside CPA firm on tax prep;
Providing project cost analysis and monitoring cash flow
Reconciling bank and credit card statements;
Reviewing budget and contract agreements;
Coordinating third party payroll and assisting with human resources and/or benefits management.
• *Full Charge Bookkeeper Qualifications:**
Local to the DC/Maryland/Virginia area is a MUST
Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks (QuickBooks certification a plus);
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (drop down list, pivot tables, etc.);
Basic IT knowledge;
6+ years of bookkeeper and/or finance experience;
Incredible organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with customers
Strong leadership qualities
Ability to prioritize and multi-task A keen attention to detail, the ability to multitask and work independently
• *Job Details:**
Remote, local to the DMV area is a MUST, so we can meet at our office in person as needed
About 20-30 hours per week
Compensation is to be discussed
