WTW is a leading company in the transactional risk sector, seeking an Associate R&W Broker to support the Transactional Risk Team within the Willis Mergers & Acquisitions Group. The role involves designing and placing transactional risk products for clients, preparing submissions, and maintaining relationships with key carriers.
Responsibilities
- Works with the Transactional Risk Team within the Willis Mergers & Acquisitions Group in the design and placement of transactional risk products for clients, attends deal calls with clients to secure transaction information, prepares submissions/coverage specifications, assists with preparing advice to client regarding carrier selection and deal structure considerations, prepares internal financial and statistical reports including analysis of M&A market trends and team data. Maintains strong relationships with key carriers
- Synthesize M&A deal information from clients to prepare market submissions
- Draft submissions including preparing joinders to non-disclosure agreements, outlining coverage specifications, and synthesizing transaction details
- Analyzes feedback from carriers and prepares coverage comparison report to share with clients including comprehensive analysis of market terms and recommendations for the best program
- Manage tracking and timing of deliverables between the client and carriers (including acquisition agreement, agreement schedules, due diligence reports and non-reliance letters)
- Assists Senior Brokers in developing materials and statistics for client meetings as requested
- Develop and share with clients, producers and colleagues, knowledge about the M&A market and product solutions as they relate to classes of business, as requested by Senior Broker
- Analyze and track team data around deal activity and team placements for regular internal reporting
Skills
- College degree with major in finance, accounting or risk management desired
- 1-5 years of Industry experience, preferably with M&A or complex insurance experience, or with representations & warranties, contingent and/or tax liability, preferred
- Must have obtained insurance brokers license within 60 days of employment
- Must possess strong attention to detail
- Ability to synthesize and organize data
- Must demonstrate core competency of Willis Values & Vision
- Special emphasis on analysis capabilities, must be detail oriented and comfortable working with numbers
- Self-starter/requires minimal supervision
