Job Title: Associate Manager, Economic Justice and Family Law (EN-8)

Reports To: Associate Director, Economic Justice and Family Law 

Supervises: This position does not supervise staff.   

Location: Remote, with candidates required to have the right to live and work in one of the South Asia, MENA or African countries.

MISSION OBJECTIVE: 
The Associate Manager advances Equality Now’s family law and economic justice efforts globally,  applying issue-based expertise, advocacy skills, and/or movement-building experience to promote gender equality in law, policy and practice.  The Associate Manager contributes to the design and delivery of the Global Campaign for Equality in Family Law (GCEFL) and work towards economic justice by supporting the Associate Director in engaging with national, regional, and international mechanisms, and strengthening Equality Now’s impact, fostering regional and global collaboration, and ensuring advocacy efforts are rooted in lived experiences and responsive to evolving legal and political contexts.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The following is a general outline of duties and responsibilities for this role. It is not an exhaustive list, and additional duties may be assigned or removed at the discretion of the Associate Director, Economic Justice and Family Law to meet organizational needs and priorities.

CONSULTANCY FEE RANGE (Annual, Gross): $20,000 – $45,000 USD
The final consultancy fee within this range will be determined based on factors including geographic location, relevant experience, demonstrated skills, qualifications, and the agreed scope and duration of services.  


Consultant fees are set with consideration for the scope of work, level of expertise, and market benchmarks, and are intended to reflect the independent and professional nature of consultancy engagements.
