Associate Business Development Manager - Impulse

The Associate Business Development Manager in our Impulse Small Format division is primarily responsible for regional convenience store chains such as Hot Spots, MinuteMan, Busy Bee, Daybreak as well as distributors such as Artica, Sweetheart, Glacier Point. The Associate Business Development Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and attainment of sales programs matching strategic growth plans on assigned accounts. This includes prioritizing new account targets and obtaining introductory meetings with category managers.

Responsibilities Include:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required 
  • Minimum of 2 years Account Selling experience with a CPG company  
  • Working knowledge of the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), convenience channel, DSD and broadline distributor networks.
  • Experience working with syndicated data, strong communication, presentation preparation, relationship building skills and Office 365 software modules.
  • Presentation skills and strong influential communication skills. 
  • Problem solving and analytical skills. 
  • High level of interpersonal skills to help foster and develop relationships that will continue to help grow the business base and create opportunities for future growth. 
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task within a broad scope of responsibility and a fast-paced environment.
