The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UC Davis Health seeks candidates for the position of Assistant Project Scientist. The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is experiencing an exciting and transformative period of academic and clinical growth. For this research position, we seek diverse candidates with an established track record of research excellence in musculoskeletal health. Strong preference will be given to scientists with a demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed research in musculoskeletal health with an emphasis on molecular biology, development, epigenetics, tumor microenvironment, oncology, engineering, and/or biochemistry. The successful candidate will be expected to interface with physicians and other scientists, participate in collaborations within the UC Davis research community, and apply their research expertise to a range of research areas to facilitate the development of new collaborative projects. We are recruiting for a Project Scientist (non-tenure track) at the Assistant rank. The resulting hire will be at the Assistant rank regardless of the proposed appointee's qualifications.
