They are seeking an Assistant in Product Management and Sourcing to support product managers throughout the product development lifecycle, manage vendor communications, and contribute to sourcing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Support product managers in the end‑to‑end product development lifecycle, from concept to delivery
- Assist in the identification and evaluation of vendor partners to ensure high-quality and cost-effective sourcing
- Manage communication and workflow between cross‑functional partners including merchandising, design, technical design, and vendors
- Monitor and manage production timelines to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and build strong partnerships
- Assist in the development of product briefs and specifications for new and existing products
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sourcing processes and strategies
- Provide administrative support to the Product Management and Sourcing teams as needed, including managing samples and mail
- Create and update PowerPoint presentations, Excel Spreadsheets, and other internal documents to support cross‑functional alignment and reporting
- Work collaboratively with merchandising to track product details, sample movement, and key milestone updates
- Support day‑to‑day coordination activities such as sample management, organizing information, routing materials for approval, and ensuring documentation accuracy
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field, or related-experience in combination
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail, required
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of the fashion retail industry and product development processes, preferred
