Morrison Child and Family Services is a Joint Commission and Sanctuary accredited non-profit organization that provides a comprehensive array of services to children, adolescents, and their families. The Administrative Coordinator delivers comprehensive administrative and office management support to a highly mobile team, coordinating services and managing reports tied to federal funder and program requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to remote staff across the United States
- Prepare and reconcile monthly visa and travel reports for staff with frequent out-of-state travel
- Track and monitor out-of-state travel and professional development fund usage
- Monitor budgets for professional development and office supplies
- Coordinate with agency departments and external partners to support operational efficiency
- Participate in program meetings and cross-departmental initiatives as assigned
- Provide basic technical and computer support and coordinate with IT resources as needed
- Serve as liaison to Facilities regarding building operations, security, and janitorial services
- Lead quarterly safety compliance activities and participate in virtual safety committee meetings
- Maintain vendor schedules and manage office supply inventory and mail
- Maintain and reconcile petty cash
- Support hiring, onboarding, and participation in local job fairs
- Complete accurate and timely timesheets and required administrative records
- Demonstrate a commitment to developing a thorough knowledge and application of the Sanctuary model and other organizational policies & practices
- Participate in staff development, in-services, and training related to workplace effectiveness; model professional behaviors and implement improvements to business practices with awareness of their impact in a trauma-informed behavioral healthcare organization
- Perform other duties as assigned to support program operations
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- One year of demonstrated office or administrative experience
- Intermediate proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and email systems
- Must be at least 21 years of age prior to start date
- Understanding of trauma-informed practices
- Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal history background check
- Completion of 40 hours of required annual training (provided by Morrison)
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with flexibility upon approval
- Experience working with ORR programs
- Bilingual in Spanish written, read and verbal. Must clear a language proficiency test for Spanish
- Knowledge of federal, state, and agency regulations
- Familiarity with government travel policies and procedures
- Knowledge of adolescent development, trauma, abuse and neglect, substance use, and related interventions
